The most hurtful thing by far ...
... about all this brouhaha has been the number of comments I've read saying "Your blog is good, but it's not as good as xxx" (where xxx has been just about every other blogger out there.)
You cunts are really hurting my feelings. I may sue.

Also, let's not forget that 750000 people a day read the star and far fewer the Independent which definitely has better writers.
I wouldn't take it personally if I were you (not that you need me to tell you this).
You write a quality blog... okay, I know that sounds more pedestrian than urban warrior but it does count for something. There are a lot of quite sensible people out there who do support you but are perhaps a little reluctant to come forward. Not because they disagree with you but because they are thinkers rather than rash, people who are weighing the situation rather than bashing the keyboard in mock anger.
